This is your opportunity to paddle back in time and spend the weekend in a century old working waterman’s cabin perched on the marsh in the Virginia Coast Reserve.  This area has been recognized by UNESCO for it’s biological significance, and has been designated a hemispherically important destination for migrating birds.

To the men who build this cabin 100 years ago, these waters were both their workplace and their supermarket.  In the Wild West atmosphere of the early 1900’s, oystermen guarded their grounds from poachers by living in cabins like these sprinkled throughout the vast marshlands of the Eastern Shore.  Few have survived the tests of time, and we are very fortunate to be able to share this unique slice of history with you for a couple of days.

We have access to a limited number of weekends every year, and all of our cabin trips are custom designed for your party.   For a 2 night minimum stay, prices start at $495 per person.  The cabin sleeps 4 comfortably, and up to 6 in a pinch.  Trips include all necessary equipment and meals and guide service.

This is the kind of place you never thought still existed.  Once you discover it you’ll never want to leave.  Call today to reserve your weekend away from it all.
